New Apps: Bloglines Gets a Native iPhone App

Posted on 29 Jan 2009 by PatrickJ

MyBloglines is a new iPhone application for keeping up with your Bloglines RSS subscriptions.

Bloglines used to be my favorite RSS reader program, but it’s been a while since I’ve used it on a regular basis – as I just can’t get myself to move away from Google Reader. Of course if you’re not a Google Reader fan, Bloglines is still a very worthy alternative.

MyBloglines is not produced by Bloglines themselves, but rather by a developer called David Hinson. Bloglines does already have a good iPhone optimized site though (accessible at i.bloglines.com). Perhaps this will spur them on to producing their own native app as well.

Always good to see more RSS reading options for the iPhone.

MyBloglines is in the App Store now, at $1.99.
