In an attempt to provide structure where Apple has not, Lucas Newman – developer of the first native iPhone game, Lights Off – has just released an Unofficial iPhone SDK. The SDK and guide provide all the ingredients and information required for new application developers to get underway creating their own native iPhone software.

Good stuff. Nice to see iPhone developers sharing and helping foster more great development. I’m not a programmer type at all, but Lucas’ guide and tools  look very useful for anyone who is and has got iPhone app ambitions. And you just have to love the completely made up, but ever so accurate, graph of iPhone developers shown above.
