TV Forecast – As If I Didn’t Already Watch Too Much TV …
TV Forecast is a little web app to help you keep track of all your favorite TV shows.
It’s got a pretty nice UI for the iPhone, which allows you to quickly add / delete programs from the list of ones it follows for you – and even offers episode summaries for each show.
I don’t want to like this, I swear. I already watch far too much TV – I don’t need to be getting better organized and all hardcore about my TV watching, so that I can watch even more crappy shows. It seems handy though – uh-oh.
Interestingly, the ‘full’ web version of this app offers a ‘Buy’ button for TV episodes, and has a statement saying this is not available yet on iPhone because iPhone can’t yet buy content from iTunes (from before the recent 1.1.1 update). Wonder if this will get updated if / when Apple allows the purchase of this type of content from the iTunes store via the iPhone.
