I would imagine there will be customize options out quite soon, as more and more people jailbreak 1.1.1 (and the iPod Touch).

Although it was odd at first I now prefer the horizontal scrolling springboard. Seems easier, especially with “the dots” to know where I am. Also like that it remembers the last springboard page I was on. So for now this has made up for the lack of wallpaper.
