New – 501 Darts Game for iPhone
MyNuMo has launched a new iPhone game called 501 Darts:
Can’t get to the pub to play? No worries mate, MyNuMo has
bought the classic 501 darts game to the iPhone. Players start with 501 points and throw three darts at a time to get to zero before their opponent beats them to it. 501 Darts features MyNuMo’s new "press to play" sports game system that makesiPhone gaming fast and fun.
I like darts a lot, so this game caught my eye straight away. I’ve only tried it out very quickly tonight, but it looks good. It scored a little wildly on a couple of throws, but overall plays well and is challenging.
I even started thinking it was too challenging for a bit – I spent enough years in the UK to be a decent darts player on a real board, and this one had me throwing all over the place at first! After a little while I’ve started getting the hang of it and scoring fairly well. Also remembered that my darts game *always* improves with a couple of beers – will get that sorted next time I play it.
