EditGrid – the online spreadsheet service – has now added an Excel plugin. The plugin is called EditGrid Excel Plus, and it integrates the web-based app with your desktop app in order to provide streaming data to Excel in real time.
Here’s some of its features and benefits:
- Real-time Linked Sheet – establish a sheet level linkage; when the online sheet is changed, your Excel linked sheet is also updated in real-time.
- Publish data from Excel to EditGrid with one click.
- Open your EditGrid workbooks in Excel.
- Bring in real-time data- bring real-time data like user edits and remote stock quotes right to Excel.
- Access and edit your spreadsheets offline – download your workbooks, edit them offline in Excel and upload again when you’re back online.
