OS X Leopard Easter Egg: Blue Screen of Death

Leopard Easter Egg: Blue Screen of Death

This is a good one.

For anyone that might connect to a PC on their network, this one is for you!

Turns out that in Leopard, Apple has introduced a ‘joke’ of sorts within the operating system.

Go ahead and connect to a PC on your network within Finder, and make sure you are in ‘cover flow’ mode. You’ll notice that the PC is displayed as an old CRT monitor with the ‘Blue Screen of Death’ proudly presented for all.

When I first saw this it made me chuckle. As a PC user in years gone by, that screen brings back not-so-fond memories.

Special thanks to iboughtamac.com for this one!
