iPhoneRingToneMaker Now Supports iPhone Firmware 1.1.1

There’s a new (beta) version of iPhoneRingToneMaker available, and it now supports iPhone firmware 1.1.1!

The new version also automatically syncs its ringtones back to your iPhone after each iTunes sync.  That’s a major plus, as with previous versions you needed to manually restore after each iTunes sync.

I’ve just given it a very quick test-run, and so far so good – my ringtones survived an iTunes sync without any effort on my part.

iPhoneRingToneMaker will not work with ringtones purchased via iTunes – not an issue for me since I’ve never purchased any, but one to be aware of if you have.

The program is Windows only for now, and does not require that your iPhone be hacked or modded in order for it to work.

The program’s setup routine also provides some warning text regarding future iPhone updates.  Essentially, it advises you to check the iPhoneRingtoneMaker page before applying a future firmware update if you don’t want to risk losing functionality, and promises best efforts to support future updates.

You can download the latest iPhoneRingToneMaker version at:
