SMSD – Lets You Delete Individual SMS Messages

SMSD ticks off another item on the ‘what’s missing’ list for the iPhone – by allowing you to delete a single SMS message at a time – rather than being forced to get rid of entire conversations, as is the default on tsmsiconhe iPhone.

The application is very basic and is a bit awkward to work with in places (e.g. it lists messages by the phone number they’re sent from rather than a contact’s name), but it works and provides a function that really should’ve been there out of the box.

SMSD is available via the Utilities section in Installer, or you can get more details on it at its Google Code project page:
