On the eve of the iPhone release in Britain, the police have issued a warning to customers.
They have been told to hide the handsets in public as they will be a big target for muggers.
You’ve got to be kidding me, what is this world coming to! As sad as it is, it’s true, and the advice as unfortunate as it is, is sound. The high value of the iPhone will most certainly catch the eye of petty street criminals and they will do all they can to get their hands on the device.
The line-ups are expected to start tomorrow outside the more than 1,300 Apple, O2 and Carphone Warehouse stores. The going price for the new iPhone will be £269. Sales will start promptly at 6:02PM local time tomorrow.
