Right on time for the iPhone’s launch in the UK and Germany, Sky News has launched an iPhone optimized version of their site.

The new site features lots of big buttons to navigate its main sections, and large graphics and photos for individual news stories – both of these help to make navigation extremely easy.

One nice little feature that’s carried over from the full site – Strange News is a top-level section that you can go to with one tap.  Today, you’d find the top story there is about a couple who survived when a falling cow hit their minivan.  Top stuff!

Overall, the Sky News site looks very good and has quick page loads.  Worth a bookmark I’d say.
