Apple together with carrier O2 launched the iPhone on Friday in the U.K.
Unlike Germany, where we’ve read mixed results on success of the iPhone launch, lines to purchase the iPhone started to form over 26 hours before the stores opened their doors.
The iPhone is now available in over 1,300 locations in the U.K. You can pick one up at Apple retail stores, O2 stores and Carphone Warehouse stores. Lots of places to buy, so if you’re in the U.K., what are you waiting for?
Pricing for the iPhone is set at £269 (about $560 USD), and service contracts with O2 are starting at £35 (around $70 USD) per month.
