SysInfo – Very Nice New Native iPhone Process Viewer App

Very cool new app up on Installer today, called SysInfo.

As the name implies, it gives you some basic system information, but it has a second and more interesting purpose as well.  It lets you look at and interact with – for instance kill, if needed – running processes on your iPhone.  This is very cool – as it’s always very nice to have an ability to view what’s running on your system.

You can tap to select an individual process and have a look at its Process ID, how much CPU resource it is taking, what priority it has, and more.

You can also reboot your phone from within SysInfo, or do a ‘soft reset’ sort of reload of Springboard.

This is a very handy program, and a damn good first version as well.

Check it out on Installer – you may need to modify the app’s permissions to make it run.  See the original MMI thread HERE for more details.
