I’ve had a Box.net account – for online file storage and data sharing etc. – for a long time, but had not got round to trying out access on the iPhone until this past weekend.
I was happy to discover that they’ve got an iPhone optimized site, and it works great. Page loads were quick on all sorts of document types – PDFs, Word docs, audio files and so on, and all the screens are sized right for the iPhone.
Box.net is a good option for storing some of your data, especially some of your larger files if you find you’re running low on space on the iPhone itself You can share documents with others, stream music, and know that your data is accessible from anywhere you can get web access.
Pricing for Box.net starts at FREE for a ‘Lite’ account offering up to 1gb of storage, $7.95 / month for 5gb and more features, and so on according to the features you need.
