Now that the iPhone is off and running in the UK, it’s nice to see a growing number of UK based iPhone optimized sites as well – like this new BBC Podcasts site.

The site is very well laid out, and has easy nav links from the home page so  you can choose to browse for podcasts by radio station,  genre, or just an alphabetical list.  Lots of good stuff on here too – sports talk, music channels and shows, news and current affairs and plenty more!

I lived in London for many years, and regularly have a look at the BBC’s main site for sports (Footie) news, but had never thought to looks for podcasts – so I’m especially glad to discover this one.
