Earthcomber is definitely one of my favorite iPhone web apps, as I’ve blabbed about before, and it’s just got a little bit of a refresh and upgrade to its already excellent features.

For those who haven’t discovered it yet, Earthcomber is a great location finder, which provides a great mobile client for just about any flavor of mobile device – it’s great for finding restaurants, nightlife, businesses, and all sorts of places of interest when you’re on the go (over 10 million places around the US). It’s definitely my first resource to look at when we’re going out and searching for a cool place to end up at.

Earthcomber’s latest refresh includes:

• Speed increase
• Improved location reviews
• Photos of the locations (for many venues)

Great to see Earthcomber continuing to improve its already strong offering – and adding pics of many of the venues is definitely welcome.  Mother Egan’s Pub never looked better …
