This calculator is indeed good, but some inaccuracies come up when you try to multiply numbers without using the times character. Let’s say you type in: 3(2+1). If you type that in alone, it will give the right result, 9, but if you were to type: 3(2+1)+6, the calculator would say it equals 27 when really it equals 15. This is because for some reason the calculator is also multiplying the 6 by 3, making the formula 3(2+1)+18, which turns into 9+18 which equals 27. It’s probably a flaw in Apple’s programming, but little inaccuracies like this in their apps and how little they debug things can start to get really annoying.

I’m still running Tiger and in Safari I tried typing different things in the built-in Google search bar and I get similar results from Google, too. Awesome! Thanks for the tip!
