Here we go again? Today there are rumors (originating with CNET France apparently) that an iPhone firmware update – to Version 1.1.3 – is on the way very soon, maybe by this weekend.
The update is said to include two pretty sought after features this time around – voice recording, and hard drive storage capabilities.
If that information is accurate, this will be a n interesting one to see, and I imagine a tougher call for many people in terms of whether it’s worth doing before there is a fool-proof jailbreak method for the new firmware.
I’m happy using Erica Sadun’s excellent VNotes app, which has just recently been updated, and I have more than enough 3rd party programs I find genuinely useful to make me hold off again (I’ve still not applied 1.1.2). How about all of you – if and when 1.1.3 appears, will you be going for it straight away?
