I talked to a ‘genius’ and they told me that Apple is aware of the problem, but there is no solution for now. The three alternatives he gave me were:
1. change the keyboard (which is not going to solve the problem)
2. use an external keyboard
3. DOWNGRADE my macbook back to TIGER! Which I don’t want to do, because I really like Leopard!
I do hope that Apple has a fix for this issue soon!
