SyncJe Updated – Much Prettier

SyncJe – the native iPhone app that provides wireless sync of calendars, contacts etc. with Google Calendar and various SyncML servers – has just been updated (last night) to Version 1.01.

The new version boasts a much nicer and more informative user interface.  It indicates that it is trying to sync nicely via the Sync button gr aphic at top right of its main screen, shows a status message at the bottom of its screen, and gives you a count of how many items have been synced in each direction when it’s through.

All of that is very welcome and helpful when using the app.

You can find the SyncJe update on Installer now.

UPDATE:  Here’s the latest word from LouN at nexthaus.com (the developers of the app) on Version 1.01:

– new UI !
– SSL support
– More recurrence issues resolved
– Bugfix for waking from sleep on GPRS/EDGE networks
– Better support for GooSync
– More verbose error messages
– Some crashing bugs fixed

We expect the majority of the compatibility issues to be sorted out with version 1.02 early next week.
