Google seem to be almost continuously improving and adding to their iPhone and mobile apps and their interface.  Today, they announced a further set of improvements for its Google Mobile page.

The list of enhancements includes:

  • Gmail now has auto-refresh, and an auto-complete feature for contacts
  • Calendar is faster and has a month view isn’t available at calendar.google.com
  • Picasa web albums are said to be much faster to work with
  • iGoogle link on the home page – to go to your customized iGoogle page
  • Ability to customize the items that are contained on the Home Menu bar

My favorite of these changes so far is the customizing option.  In the above screencap you can see that I’ve swapped out Gmail (since I use that mainly via the iPhone mail app) and put Google Notebook in its place, as having fast access to that one is more helpful to me.

There may still be other things changing as today goes on, but that’s already another pretty good little set of improvements from Google.   Let us know what you think of these latest changes, or if you spot any additional ones …
