New iPhone firmware 1.1.3 has been released and you can download it automatically via iTunes. There is some good news with this update.
I’ve read many accounts all over the web that this update will restore functionality to phones that were ‘bricked’ during the last update. 1.1.3 performs a complete rewrite of the phone’s baseband, therefore removing anything written by a previous unlock solution.
Only potentially bad thing (for those outside of the US) is once you perform the update, you will be locked to AT&T.
