Crunchgear has a nice post up on the new Skullcandy iPhone FMJ headphones – dubbed their ‘crown jewel of Macworld’, and getting shown off in the picture above. These seem to have gained quite a few admirers at both CES and Macworld this year.

Here’s some of the details from Skullcandy’s site on the new FMJs:

Think FMJ audio superiority with a new tightly-wrapped, coiled metal cable, plus the addition of a sleek in-line mic. That’s right, Skullcandy’s iPhone FMJ lets you and your iPhone rock together AND talk together.

  • 11mm speaker
  • Frequency range: 16 Hz 20K Hz
  • Impedance: 16 ohms
  • Max input power: 500mW
  • Cable type: Aluminum foil
  • Cable length: 1.1 M
  • Plug type: 3.5mm gold plated
  • Accessories:
  • EVA carrying case
  • COMPLY foam tips

The iPhone FMJs go for $79.95.  Unfortunately, these are showing as out of stock until February 1st right now.  You can go get a better look and see what you think right now though, at Skullcandy’s page:

$20 cheaper than the V-moda’s – I wonder how they compare? I might have to my hands on a pair of these to try them out…
