Our friends at JAVOedge have offered up Three Free Alloyvision Crystal Metal Cases (in the winners’ choice of colors) for us to give away in this contest. These are really cool cases and normally go for $35.
The brief description of the Crystal Metal Case is: a new hybrid case of clear PC plastic and metal. Clear in the front and solid aluminum in the back. This is the best case to show off the original look of your Apple iPhone while keeping it snug and protected.

Now for my second contest entry… While standing on a marble floor I reach into my pocket to get my iPhone. It goes flying out of my hand.. There is nothing I can do and I know if my iPhone hits the hard marble surface it’s Game Over. In a stroke of good luck the iPhone lands 5 feet away in an open Amazon.com that happen to be sitting on the floor. It even landed right onto one of those giant air bubbles…. CLOSE CALL! (thanks Amazon)
Entry three… my case-mate case is broken (got it after the close call), I need a new case and I love the way the AlloyVision looks!

A true story about my iPhone:
One day I went to NY from Newark, NJ via train (metro) and when I came back I left the train and the doors closed I looked inside and there was my iPhone in the sit next to a newspaper, I start to scream to stop the train but they did not stop and 2 cops came and arrested me, then I explained the situation and they called NJ Transit to contact someone inside that train and see if they could find a phone.
(The cop asked me which model was it and I said is a iPhone from apple, and the cop wrote down ‘eye phone’ lol)
Then about 1 hour and 30 minutes later they got a call saying they found my “eye Phone”.
I don’t know how could nobody saw the iPhone when it traveled about 4 metro stations and usually the metro to NY from NJ is full of people.
Thanks to the guy who picks the trash from the trains, he was the one who found and I gave him $50 for giving me the “eye phone” back.

Hey guys here’s entry number uno!
The second week I had my phone, I was carrying it in my back pocket. All of a sudden I had to run to the bathroom. As dropped my pants, my phone flew from my back pocket and hit the rim of the toilet. As I turned around, it was like one of those dramatic scenes from a basketball game… is it gonna go in… please don’t let it go in. Finally it landed safely on the floor. Now I always take it out of my pocket before heading to the bathroom.
I think these cases are visually stunning. They also appear to be easy to remove for someone like me that loves to dock his iPhone.

Guys, yesterday night I almost died….I was trying to move the app folder in the secon partition….I restarted the iphone and the menu WAS COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED….all black…
after the shock I’ve managed to restore the iphone to the otb.
Of the case I like this half metal half transparent!
I really want it but stil didn’t decide the colour!

Entry 2: Scary part
Im a paid on call firefighter and keep my iphone in my pocket. As i entered the station for a call, the iphone fell out of my pocket as i was getting on my gear. I failed to realize due to the slight adrenaline rush. Well my gear is along the wall by the engine that was going to the call. When i got back from the station someone asked me if i lost my phone. I checked my pocket and it was gone. He said it was under the truck and got ran over
Luckily it did very little damage to the phone except for some scrapes on the back. My guess is that it got between the rear dual tires and squeaked by, or just barely ran over on the edge. Either way, i was upset when he said it got ran over
Entry 3: what i like about the case
- padded interior
- doesnt look too bulky
- has an opening on the back for the apple logo
- cant quite tell if its a swivel clip, but it appears so, also good
- the clear plastic in front is open between the screen and home button so you can just slide your finger down to it

my story about my iPhone is me and my mom went to a gas station to get gas one time. Stupid me I put it on top of the car when I was filling it up because my hands were occupied with the gas hose. Anyway I ended up forgetting it on top of the car so when we drove away and I put on the brakes befre shooting out in traffic my phone slid across the top of the car and landed on the road. I thought it was done for but thanks to the now banged up case I had on it, it is completely fine. Not even a scrath from flying off a car at 10 mph. I’d say that’s impressive and my scary iPhone story. And this is my second post.

I’m a collegate swimmer, so of course I use my iPhone to listen to some tunes before my big races. At one meet, I had my iPhone in my pocket and I was cheering for a teammate when I bent over to cheer louder (right next to the pool) and my phone fell out on the deck. Not into the pool, but close.

I was at the mall yesterday and my 7 year old son wanted to use my iphone to play Bejeweled. (Between games and you tube cartoons he’ll go anywhere now!) Anyway, as I was removing the phone from my velcro flapped case, it slipped from my fingers. We watched in slow motion as it dropped towards the floor, terrified that this was going to be bad. Well, I was just plain lucky and I have not found even a scratch yet. I am looking for some future protection and this case could be it!

iphone horror story: this is how it went. i’m usually quite careful with my iphone but i still hand it out to my buddies to play around with. you can see where this is going. this one time i was out with my buds chilling out at a coffee shop smoking some bud and i let this (kinda hot) chick play with my ahem…iphone. long story short, i get sidetracked and forget i gave her my phone. i remembered after 20m and couldn’t find the phone where i thought i’d left it. kinda got a scare then cuz the phone was barely 2 weeks old. finally, the chick shows up and hands me the phone. i was so glad to finally see my iphone (yup..just the phone) that i grabbed her and smacked one on her lips. ok maybe that part isnt entirely true. well, all’s well that ends well.
