Major problems today for AT&T’s Edge data network in parts of the USA.  Most reports – like this one – say that Edge data is down for users in the Midwest and Southeast regions.  Of course this affects more than jjust iPhone users, and an AT&T spokesman helpfully told Gizmodo that ‘some devices’ are affected.  Voice traffic is not supposed to be affected by the current outages.

The closest there is to an ETA for a fix is probably today, but possibly not until February 5th – pretty broad range there, guess that covers all the bases.

I’m in Texas and mine is working fine when I tested just now.  Hope there is a fix quickly for all of you who are affected by this outage …
