Yup, I have to admit – I am still a bit partial to the (very) old Kenny Rogers tune, ‘The Gambler’ – still love the words, and the story, all of it really. So I had to have a look at MyNumo’s new web game for the iPhone, The Gambler Mobile Blackjack.
Happy to say, I’m not disappointed. The game fires up and offers Kenny’s squinty, poker face staring back at you. It takes a little bit to load up the table ready for action once you hit ‘Play’, and away you go.
The game plays very smooth once the initial page is loaded, even over an Edge connection, which I tried out at length this afternoon. The graphics are not amazing, but they’re sharp and clear – all the actions you want are easy to spot, and respond nicely.
This won’t push iBlackjack – the superb native iPhone blackjack game – from its favorite spot for me. iBlackjack has superb graphics, lots of game settings and options, and even add-on themes for customizing the look of the table and cards.
If you haven’t jailbroken your phone though, or just fancy a web version, then The Gambler Mobile Blackjack is a very nice option for you …

I’m not from the MyNuMo site, so here is my unbiased comment, I enjoy both the Kenny Rogers Blackjack & Roulette. The interface is very user friendly, so the games are addictive. Since I’m heading to the casinos this weekend, I feel like the sites adequately prepared me to win big! LOL
