So last night’s rumors at Engadget proved true, and even faster than expected. Today Apple has announced – and made available – a new 16GB iPhone model, for $499, and a new 32GB iPod Touch model, also for $499.
Interesting to see that the 16GB iPhone is $100 more than a same-capacity Touch, and the same price as the 32GB Touch – so the choice is whether to get the phone features or the bigger storage for your extra $100.
Anyone planning on an immediate upgrade? I’m still waiting to hear about the plans for the 3G model …
