I truly believe mankinds collective IQ is 10 points lower after reading this article. Can people really be this self absorbed to an object? Hey, while your checking your phone reading this message I hope a bird poos on your head. Because we all know that the ‘real world’ in your eyes is through a 6 inch screen. I didnt realize how pathetic people were untill i read this. Do you guys realize that its just an object? Our grand ole’ exploitive society just got a little richer while three kids in Africa just died. Good job!

The iPhone is a rip off. I would rather wait for a newer version, one thats cheaper and works better. This article SUCKED

…referring to the question at the end, in my opinion we already are in a time of being utterly dependent on technology- some years ago it might have been a quite daring thing to imagine our world without electricity, but lately the shocking effect nowadays would equal a “what if mobiles and the internet would fail”… this is scary, society-wise, ain’t it?

Me owning an iphone and also, as with everything apple, relating to it emotionally, don’t think that there is a sense in craving something like a phone… let’s not forget that You control all these things, there is no “I can’t help but”, there’s only “I can’t help wanting”- I believe…

From that point I found Your post a bit… one-sided? You could do a post with the last sentence as a headline, to give this side more depth… this is where it gets interesting, I’d say…

I ordered two on Day One. Got mine running and showed my wife how it worked. She demanded to know when she would get hers. Now my son has one too. Yes, these phones ARE THAT GOOD.

People who bitch the most about the iPhone never used one long enough to learn how it works. But they tend to be tech types who somehow “intuit” the iPhone’s shortcomings. They also tend to be Windows users. This explains their skepticism that anything could be this good.

As a new iPhone owner of oh 3 days, I have read of your obsession with a certain sense of me too isms. So much to learn and grinning a boyish grin at the UI and just the great feel it has in my hands. In the slow travel in the snowstorm tonight, the iPhone provided not only reading material while I crawled along, but painless communication with all those that I spoke with. thanks for sharing your obsession, mine is growing quickly…..
