Travian is a cool new browser game that plays very well on the iPhone, as well as on a regular browser.
I’ve only just discovered it a few days ago – thanks to EIC member IndyJonez’ post about it – and so far it seems a little like Civilization, or at least that style of game, but with the obvious difference that you’re up against thousands of other online players in this one (it currently lists a little over 100,00 active players).
You start off the game as the head of a small village. You need to build up your stash of key supplies (iron, wood, crops etc), form alliances if you like or need, build your population, and try to become a stable or even dominant power in the game.
I haven’t played it anywhere near enough to tell you any of the finer points, but I can say that it’s good fun, easy to get into, and easy to play on your iPhone.
