Finally – some good news on the ‘Where is the SDK’ front.  Apple has sent out an invite to a Town Hall event at their HQ next week:

Please join us to learn about the iPhone software roadmap, including the iPhone SDK and some exciting new enterprise features …

This means the SDK release will have only been delayed by about a week, and we should be getting more good news than most expected.  If ‘exciting new enterprise features’ means full Exchange support, or Exchange and Lotus Notes support, that is a very big deal, very good news for lots of iPhone users, and one less barrier to the iPhone making some inroads in corporate environments.

That one week delay will be forgotten in an instant if we get some real Exchange support and maybe some real, ready-to-go apps on 6th March.

So now we know – 8 days to go ….

Finally! Lack of news on this was really killing me. Of course, this will be another day when I’m glued to my computer at work and hanging on every bit of news that comes out of this event!
