Today I just learned that NewsFire RSS news reader is available for free for Mac OS X. When I read this a smile came to my face…
I’ve been a longtime user of NetNewsWire… But the release of the free version of NewsFire couldn’t have come at a better time for me. I’ve been having some issues with NNW… namely feeds disappearing from my list… and the occasional syncing error. I’m going to take this opportunity to export my subscriptions from NNW and try importing them to NewsFire. We’ll see what happens!
Off I go now to install NewsFire. From what I’ve seen I love the look/feel of the app, but we’ll see how it performs once I jam all of my subscriptions into it 🙂
