Looks like YouTube has been re-encoding some videos. We’ve read and noticed that some videos have increased from 320×240 to 480×360. Sound quality has also improved. The updates are coming mostly on new videos… But as AppleTell’s Adam Fisher-Cox notes… ‘they are also selecting older videos… such as the skateboarding dog video, to re-encode’.
Hilarious! I remember the very first time I picked up an iPhone. What was the first thing I did? Went to YouTube and pulled up the skateboarding dog video. Guess I should load it up again to see if there’s an improvement in sound and picture quality 🙂
