I just watched the video of today’s event (and it WAS an event)! Reading about what is coming in the next few months doesn’t do justice to what is now not only possible but an upcoming reality. Case in point– the “Touch Fighter” game Apple built in two weeks with less than 10,000 lines of code.
It sounded kinda neat when I read about it but…
But watching the video I could not believe my eyes.
Amazing graphics.
Fire by tapping the screen.
Steer by moving the iPhone.
It LOOKS amazing! (and they threw it together in half a month!)
And after watching the video it struck me-
Apple not only kicked RIM, Windows Mobile and Nokia in the teeth today,
they also just announced the newest, and likely best, portable gaming device ever!!
