It is pretty amazing to think that a year after the iPhone was released the EXACT SAME HARDWARE will become an almost entirely different, and even more useful, device. And then comes iPhone Gen2!!

This makes me even more hopeful that SOMETHING is in the works that puts this platform on a slightly larger device. Give me that, along with support for a bluetooth keyboard, and you are talking about one awesome device. What Mike Cane calls the “iPod Air”.

One more thought– the MIDs (Mobile Internet Devices) haven;t even been released and they just got run into the ground! The iPhone is now not only the smartphone to beat, but the internet device to beat, as well. (Not that it couldn’t ALREADY claim that title.)

And a question- Jobs referred to MS Exchange support “in the next firmware upgrade”. Later we heard “iPhone 2.0 June”. Does that mean NO changes for the next 2 to 3 months? Hhmmmm…
