I’m trying hard to stay on Brandon’s good side π – by spreading out th
e news items stemming from the Apple iPhone SDK Launch Event, and reactions to it. There really is tons of it though.
In the last couple of days we’ve also learned a few very interesting details about the upcoming iPhone firmware 2.0 update, and some much-needed ‘extras’ it will include. Like these new abilities:
- Mass delete and move email messages. Hurrah and about friggin time.
- Full-screen mode in Safari.
- Support for Bonjour (Apple’s zero configuration networking scheme).
- View Powerpoint attachments.
There are still some big and obvious missing things, but these are good to see – especially the mass email handling capability …
