10 Million 3G iPhones Already Ordered? We Can Only Hope!

MacRumors is reporting Gartner analyst Ken Dulaney’s claim that Apple has already ordered 10 Million 3G iPhones from a source in Asia. Ten Million!! That is a whole lot of phones.

Better yet, he speculates that the 3G version will have an OLED display, making for a thinner 2nd Generation iPhone with good battery life. NICE!!

And this while Gen1 iPhones continue to fly out the door. The Apple store is currently showing a 5-7 business day wait for both the 8 and 16GB iPhones.

Let’s hope this rumor is true.
