Want Tactile Feedback on the iPhone Keyboard? You Got It …

My Touch Keys for iPhone

One of the biggest complaints against the iPhone’s virtual keyboard since Day One has been the lack of tactile feeback when typing.  My Touch Keys is a new product that aims to address this, and help us type more easily and with less typos.

It’s a thin sheet of plastic, much like a screen protector, with precise cutouts for every key on the iPhone’s keyboard. The product’s claim is that it lets you feel each key as you tap it, because the sheet of plastic sits just a tick above the iPhone’s screen.  The creator’s site already has a YouTube video link (where the actual sheet of plastic is very hard to see) showing use of the keyboard with My Touch Keys applied, and also deminstarting that it does not interfere with normal flicking and touching of the screen when the keyboard is not in use.

I am not much of a touch typist, and I’m not sure how much this might help me, but I am probably the exception to the rule in liking the iPhone keyboard quite a bit as is.  We’ll try to get hold of one and give it a review though.

My Touch Keys goes for $7.99 including free shipping (US only) and they are currently offering a Buy One, Get One Free deal.  For more details, demo video links, and to order, check out:
