Because of this, we’re pretty much screwed. Hopefully with the spectrum that’s being auctioned, a new competitor will join the mix forcing lower prices, but we’ll see what the future holds.

Of course, my bit about Bell owning it all is based on nothing but my own findings, but if someone knows better, I would love to know what is actually holding up our lower prices, not just on data plans but voice. The plans here are a joke and hurt especially after spending my life living in the US.

I hope that we will now have similar pricing structures to the US. I\’ve got a BlackBerry & Rogers is killing me with additional costs, surcharges, hidden charges, etc. I’m calling them each month to dispute & correct my bill. JUST GIVE ME UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD FOR ONE PRICE!!!… just like our neighbors down south!
