The Boy Genius Report has a gallery up of screencaps of the latest iPhone 2.0 firmware that has gone out to developers, and a few details on changes they’ve noticed in the new firmware build.
Nothing earth shaking, but a couple of nice and wished-for items have appeared. There is now a home screen icon for the Contacts applet. This is a good addition, as many people have missed this, and those of us who are jailbroken have had this feature for some time now (thanks to Erica Sadun). The other notable new item BGR have noticed is one that is most relevant to brand new iPhone users wanting to make transition to the iPhone as smooth as possible – a ‘Import SIM Contacts’ option in phone settings. That’s a big help, and another area where some third party apps (can’t recall names right now) have filled in up to now.
