Ziphone 3.0 was released yesterday by Zibri. In this release, the best, easiest, and most ful-featured current jailbreak method for iPhone has added a few more bells and whistles, which it probably needs to do since the Dev Team’s ‘next level’ pwnage tool is due out this later this week.
Here are some of the new features:
– No more need of fix nvram!
– Solution for GREYED wifi!
– No need for YouTube Fixes!
– Embedded apps installer!
– Customized plugins !
Ziphone 3.0 also provides automatic installation of the BSD Subsystem (which is required in order for many other apps to install) and SSH. This should be a a big help – as lots of jailbreakers have experienced problems downloading these apps in the past. The Ziphone GUI on the Mac (and I assume same on a Windows box) provides a pretty good troubleshooting section as well.
My iPhone is in such nice shape (touch wood) at the moment that I have not yet tested out this latest Ziphone release – so I don’t know how the new plugins system works, or what the ‘surprise’ feature is. If you have had a chance to look at these, please share and let us know what you think …
