The Vaja ivolution Silver for iPhone is an item of near decadent luxury that will make some swear and some swoon. You see, it ‘s not just the ‘typical ‘ ivolution case made of the finest Argentinean leather, it ‘s also jewelry for your device because all of the metal trim on it is made of pure sterling silver.
Judie over at Gear Diary has got a great review up on the near decadent and luxurious Vaja ivolution Silver case for the iPhone. As an aside, I should mention that Judie could review a new dishwasher detergent (and probably has given the breadth of topics that Gear Diary covers) and I would still enjoy it, just for the quality of the writing – but hearing her talk about items she has really been using and rates highly is even better!
These cases start at $280, so this is not something I’ll be in the market for in the foreseeable future, but I can still appreciate a vivid description from someone who obviously can fully appreciate this case in all its glory, and even picked a custom color that seems to suit it perfectly. Here’s a little taster from the section where I probably would’ve said ‘It’s taken a few knocks, but still looks ok ..’:
Just as a leather bomber jacket will take on character by lightening in spots which experience more wear, my case has done the same, and the silver has taken on a lovely patina. My case now has a predominantly deep purple color with undertones of fuschia showing through, which combined with the warmth of the matte silver is quite lovely.
