Twinkle Update Coming Soon, with Clickable URLs & More

Twinkle iPhone Twitter client

I meant to post this much earlier, but it slipped my mind.  I got an email last night as part of the Twinkle testing group, which included the following text relating to an upcoming update:

There should be another release coming out within the next couple of days adding, clickeable replies and urls, add/remove buddies and a few more minor fixes.

Good stuff.  Clickable links seems to me to be THE most requested feature that a lot of folks would like to see added to Twinkle – and seeing it within the next couple of days would be very, very nice.

I’ve been seeing a lot of new Twinkle users in the Austin area these last few days – the Near Me tab is now pretty consistently interesting to look at.

How many of you have tried out Twinkle?  What other features would you like to see added?

The “Near Me” tab shows me people in France (i wish i was there) but i’m actually at the caribbean, how does that work?

moimart = that’s not good. I’ve had a couple of occasions now where Twinkle was placing me in a very far wrong place (New Jersey, when I’m in Texas). I found that turning off the Locate Me feature and turning it back on rectified it for me.

    Have you tried that?
