It’s a quick way to turn off the WiFi on the phone, which I usually do immediately after use to save battery power. I also find that when WiFi is spotty, Safari runs faster when it only has access to Edge than when it tries going back and forth.

Having it set to the home button makes the process a whole lot quicker than going through settings.
