The Windows version of the new Pwnage jailbreak tool has been launched in beta today. Winpwn comes with a few limitations and several wanrings in this first beta release.  The first and most clear warning is:

WARNING THIS IS ONLY FOR BETA TESTERS AND COULD CAUSE YOU TO RESTORE YOUR IPHONE/ITOUCH LOSING DATA

In this beta, 2.0+ support is disabled – as are most of the custom options and the unlock baseband features.  The hope and expectation seems to be that after some further testing over the nxt few days, there will be a final release with most or all of these limitations lifted.
