Sadly, it's nothing like Live Search on WinMo where you can actually speak the addresses and commands. I don't know how they do it on WinMo phones but it seems that they sample the voice then send it up to Redmond (or server elsewhere) and very accurately interpret it, then radio it back to stuff the fields. You can say "1555 main street san francisco california" and it will look that up, confirm it and enter it as the start or destination. It also shows cheapest gas prices near you, movie times, traffic flow, weather. And the maps are fast. What live.com does now on iPhone web based is the same traffic flow map, connects to MSN video, searches images, news. Too bad MS haven't created a voice input for driving directions for the iPhone. But I suppose they want to promote WinMo.
