moleskine Now Does Text File Import

At some point, a week may go by without a need to post about moleskine, the increasingly powerful iPhone notes application – but for now, as long as HC keeps making major improvements and additions, I’ll keep sharing them here.

Today’s big addition is the ability to import text files into moleskine.  This is a very cool addition, as it means you can create simple text files over on your desktop machine and work with them on the iPhone as notes quite easily.  Or work with documents you’ve got from elsewhere in text file format of course.

In order to work with text files in moleskine, you need to copy them to your iPhone using DropCopy or SSH or whatever method you like, and you’ll need to have both WildEyes and moleskine installed on the iPhone.  There’s a quick two-step process to get the text files into moleskine using the two apps. Check out Databinge’s demo video HERE for a full demo.

Hopefully well soon see WildEyes cut out of the equation and have a direct import ability from within moleskine.

You can install both of these apps via Installer – to make sure you always have the latest version of them you should add the Databinge source:
