I’m a long time big fan and user of eWallet, the mobile and desktop password manager application from Ilium Software.  We’ve known for a while that Ilium are definitely planning to bring eWallet to the iPhone once 2.0 and the App Store are launched.

Today, I think I just got a first little sneak peek at what the new native app may look like – as Ilium and eWallet got some nice TV News coverage from their local NBC station in Michigan.  I’m pretty sure there are some native apps screens shown in there, as they do not look like the web companion beta screens I’ve seen up to now.  And, as you might well expect, they look pretty good in the brief glimpses I caught of them.

Check out the news story HERE, and see what you think of a couple of the screens shown.  The video link is just below the photo along the right-hand side of the article.  In any case, it’s good to see eWallet getting a start on its way to TV stardom :)

Unfortunately – I’m not seeing a mac shown in that video … still just iPhone + Visturd.

Not sure how much use I’m going to get out of it if they don’t have some way for me to sync it with my Mac. I guess it wouldn’t be to bad if I have to do it through a virtual machine … as long as sync doesn’t get tied iTunes.
