I don’t own an iPhone. But I believe the virtual keyboard on iPhone lacks the greatest merit of being ‘virtual’. That is: Ability to Customize the Layout or ‘virtual feel’. If the keyboard is virtual, it should easy (this is in comparison to a physical keyboard, duh) provide input for any sort of language or keyboard layout like the dvorak layout.

Just my own opinion on the virtual keyboard. I’ve used a Treo and Blackberry Curve. I like the feeling on the Blackberry Curve keyboard but it lacks keyboard-to-menu shortcuts which I feel is essential (after using it so much on the Treo).
