Feeds – Google Reader RSS App – Updated Again, Adds Starred Items Marking
Feeds – the native iPhone Google Reader application – was updated again last night, to Version 0.4.1.
This latest version adds a feature which was a *big* wish list item for me – the ability to mark items as starred (or to remove the star as well). I use this a ton when going through feeds, marking with a star all items I want to return to or take some action on later – it’s great seeing this in Feeds. The next items along these lines that would be very nice to see are the ability to share and email items.
Sync speed also seems considerably quicker to me now. The initial sync after the update was quite lengthy, but subsequent ‘normal’ syncs were around 1-2 minutes – which seems well within the acceptable to good range to me.
Feeds latest version is out now on Installer, via the ModMyiFone source, which is part of Community Sources so you should just need to refresh sources as normal to see it.
