Hmmm. BMW has got a page on their site welcoming ‘the new iPhone’ and touting how well it work with most BMW models:

All you need besides the new Apple iPhone to make a call, listen to music or access your address book in a BMW is the "USB/audio interface" and a suitable mobile phone preparation with Bluetooth interface. Enjoy your iPhone and your BMW in parallel, for the sheer pleasure of both worlds.
Sounds good. Yet another sign of the impending arrival of … something … a 3G model, a 3G and V2 model? At any rate, I assume all these features will be coming to my Kia any day now as well 🙂
